Word Mobile is a Windows 10/11 exclusive app developed by Microsoft that allows anyone to open and view Microsoft Word documents with ease. The app is optimized for both desktop, laptop, and touch-enabled devices and offers all users an easy, fast, reliable, and 100% accurate way to reproduce Word documents at home, school, work, or on the go.

Primarily designed to enable fast access to DOC and DOCX files on compatible mobile devices (with displays of up to 10.1 inches in size), this application features not only a touch-friendly interface with some UI elements enlarged and simplified for mobile use, but also built-in support for sharing files on OneDrive, DropBox and Sharepoint cloud storage platforms and sending files for printing.

Word Mobile is a viewer app, and in its free version, it does not allow users to edit and save Word files.
