Diagnostic Scan
Performs a comprehensive health assessment of the data stored on your Transcend SSD.

Secure Erase
Permanently deletes all data on the SSD, ensuring it cannot be recovered.

TRIM Detect & Enable
Prevents performance degradation by automatically removing unwanted data, maintaining optimal SSD performance over time.

Troubleshooting and Usage Tips

SSD Scope cannot detect my storage device.
Ensure that your storage device is properly connected to your computer. Reconnect the device to verify that it is securely attached to the appropriate port.

SSD Scope does not respond when I double-click its icon.
This issue may arise if you lack Administrator privileges. On Windows 7, make sure to click "Allow" when prompted for Administrator permissions to run SSD Scope.

I can’t update the firmware and see the message: “The server name or address could not be resolved.”
This usually indicates that your computer is not connected to the Internet. Check your Internet connection and try updating the firmware again.

What is the difference between “Quick Erase” and “Full Erase”?
Both options securely erase all data on the SSD, ensuring it cannot be recovered through standard recovery techniques. However, "Full Erase" employs stricter algorithms, making data recovery even with specialized tools virtually impossible.

Can I clone two Windows operating systems from my original drive to the new SSD?
No, Transcend System Clone only supports cloning a single OS drive. It does not support multi-OS drives or partitions using non-Windows file systems.

Why didn’t it clone the OS partition installed on the logical drive of my original HDD?
Transcend System Clone cannot clone only the OS partition if it is installed on a logical drive. Ensure that the "Only Clone OS" option is unchecked to clone the entire original drive, including all partitions.
