The Sims 4 is a popular life simulation video game, developed by Maxis and published by Electronic Arts in 2014 for PC, and in later years on other platforms.

Since the popularity of The Sims 4 for PC managed to steadily grow over the years, Maxis and EA have never given up on it, providing its gamers incredible amount of free DLC updates, stuff packs, game packs, character-changing addons, and nine large expansions packs (Get to Work, Get Together, City Living, Cats & Dogs, Seasons, Get Famous, Island Living, and Discover University) that introduce an incredible amount of new content to the base game.

Similarly, like in its predecessor games (who were released in 2000, 2004 and 2009), players are tasked to create their own Sim character, customize its appearance, micromanage their daily activities, contacts with AI Sims characters, explore different personalities, help them tackle life’s biggest joys and obstacles, and get immersed in almost complete control over their digital life.

The Sims characters can go through seven life stages (baby, toddler, child, teenager, young adult, adult, and elder), and become involved with various life challenges, change clothes, haircuts, meet and live with new Sims.

The management of Sims is just one part of the game. The Sims 4, of course, allows players to completely control the environment where their Sims live. Build/Buy mode covers not only the creation of living quarters and the yard landscaping but also the management of the entire neighborhood.

This includes the creation and editing of entire buildings and rooms. The entire build-and-buy procedure is powered by simple tools, large liberal of objects, and more.

While the base game was launched with two basic worlds (Willow Creek and Oasis Springs) that feature access to 21 house lots, the game was increased tenfold over the years. It now allows access to an incredible variety of worlds, including the recently added college town of Britechester.

Playing alone is never fun, so developers have also included numerous social features such as the ability to export/import sims, lots, rooms via the built-in Gallery tool.

The game does not support real-time multiplayer with other players around the world. Players can only share their creations. The Sims 4 represents the best way to transport yourself into another virtual world.
