To get Phone Link up and running, users are required not only to install this application on their PC but also to get the app running on their android smartphone (with at least the Android 11 operating system installed) and for the device and PC to be in the same local wireless network. In order for active phone calls to be shared between PC and smartphone, the device also must be connected via Bluetooth.

Once connected, users can take full advantage of their mobile phone by managing phone calls, accessing contact lists and SMS messages, transferring photos, videos, and email attachments, freely dragging and dropping files between devices, getting mobile notifications on the desktop, and even accessing phone’s app directly on PC (this functionality is limited to select Microsoft, Samsung, and Honor Android devices).
