It can be easily installed from the Chrome Web Store by clicking on the “Add to Chrome” button and waiting just a few seconds for a sub-2 MB installation archive to be downloaded and activated inside your web browser. During the regular browsing, this “S” icon will change colors, signifying loading of natively encrypted HTTPS pages, pages that are automatically converted to HTTPS by this service, and un-secure web pages that HTTPS Everywhere has failed to encrypt.
