Hitman 3 is a stealth game franchise developed and published by IO Interactive, as the final installment of their popular World of Assassination trilogy that consists of games Hitman (2016) and Hitman 2 (2018).



The third game in this series (eight in the entire Hitman franchise) continues the adventures of the mysterious Agent 47, who travels to numerous international destinations to solve mysteries of his past. In addition to concluding this latest trilogy of games, Hitman 3 game also celebrates the 20th anniversary of this franchise that has managed to attract over 20 million unique players since 2016.

The core gameplay concept of the Hitman 3 action stealth video game is focused on the third-person exploration of the various environments present in the game, with a goal of assassinating protected targets with any means necessary. Locations and missions present in the first two Hitman games (both base games and their numerous DLC expansions) can be imported to Hitman 3 if the players own those games on the same platform.

While Hitman 1 and 2 had some multiplayer modes, this final game in the series will be singleplayer-only, with some MP modes being available only with AI-controlled opponents. The game is available on the Windows PC platform as an Epic Games Store exclusive.
