Sometimes latest versions of the software can cause issues when installed on older devices or devices running an older version of the operating system.

Software makers usually fix these issues but it can take them some time. What you can do in the meantime is to download and install an older version of Earth Alerts 2019.1.100.

What's new in this version:

General / UI:
- Numerous bug fixes and minor UI changes have been made to various screens throughout the application

Tropical:
- Extensive code changes to continue to reduce the dependence on Weather Underground as a data source:
as a result all imagery for active storms will now be fetched from the National Hurricane Center, Central Pacific Hurricane Center and the Joint  Typhoon Warning Center; for each active storm only  a single link to WU will be made available within Earth Alerts should you wish to view any WU specific information and imagery for that storm

Fire:
- For U.S. locations in California: functionality is currently not working for displaying incident information originating from the Cal Fire website; unfortunately an RSS data feed of active incidents no longer seems to be available as of July 2019; I am still investigating this issue; incident information originating from InciWeb still works okay
