Installation and Use

It comes in a lightweight package that can be installed in mere seconds. All you need to do is follow on-screen instructions and eventually pick a location where the client app will be installed. The only obvious UI element that can potentially irritate you is the fact that both Dream Mail installer and client feature Chinese language characters by default. To switch from Chinese to the English language, you will need to go to the language tab in-app settings. It is important to note that Dream Mail is officially optimized for use only on newer Windows 8, Windows 10, and Windows 11 operating systems.

Upon starting the app, you will be welcomed with the interface structure that was popularized more than a decade ago by the famous Outlook Express. This is excellent news for novices who are used to this UI structure, enabling anyone to quickly start managing their email accounts. The app consists of the main window with an email/directory structure tree on the left, central control tools on the top bar, and a large work area for email listings in the center. Each email can be summoned into its own floating window that has all the necessary tools for email management (To, CC, Subject, text body fields, and buttons for Sending, Saving, adding Attachments, Contacts, Digital Signatures, and more).

In addition to email management, DreamMail also has integrated support for Calendar, Contact database management, user info pages, template manager, and attachment manager. All those tools have their own windows and streamlined interfaces, enabling users to handle the workload that touches hundreds or even thousands of email addresses and regular daily correspondence with them.

The main Options window features 18 individual tabs filled with detailed customization tools, ranging from interface tweaks, an incredible amount of email details, calendar options, and much more.
